"Sharing life through community."
At Life Point Church our Life Groups are key to building significant Christian relationships and growing closer to God.
Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find.
That’s why Life Groups exist-to make these life changing relationships relevant and accessible to you.
are life groups important?
Life Groups are the hub of our ministry. They’re the place where real ministry of the church takes place as we study God’s Word while supporting and sharing our lives with one another. We believe that meeting together on a regular basis is time well spent. Our goal each year to get you involved beyond our Sunday worship and into a more smaller setting.
do Life Groups look like?
Life Groups are made up of 10-16 people who meet weekly in person or online to share, study and support one another. A trained leader and host lead each group. An average meeting lasts for an hour and a half. We encourage our groups to coordinate a social within their group each quarter and serve along side one another in one of Life Point’s many service opportunities.
is the required commitment?
Joining a Life Group requires 9 to 11 week commitment to attend weekly meetings and do the study materials. Your commitment is the key to a strong Life Group. You have the first three weeks to test the waters and decide if the group is a good fit for you.
long do they last?
Each Life Group session lasts 9 to 11 weeks. We have Fall, Winter and Spring sessions. At the end of each session you have the choice of staying in the same group, trying a new one or even taking a break. Most groups stay together throughout the entire year. Summer is optional for our leaders and group members.
does it cost?
Life Groups are Free! The only investment on your part is your time and commitment for the semester. Core Class groups may have an additional cost for the materials and conference. See each Core Class for more details.
