SEPT 1 - NOV 31

Life Point is a place where you can be accepted as you are, experience radical grace, and healing from your past hurts. We’ve all got stuff we’re dealing with. There’s no shame in that. The shame is trying to deal with it alone. We’ve found that the best way to deal with our stuff is in relationships. Life-giving relationships. There’s real freedom found in relationships that are marked by accountability, grace, love, support and honesty.

We believe each person can have a growing relationship with Jesus. That each person can have the kind of relationship that is exciting, life-giving and worth living. And that life isn’t found alone – it’s found in doing life with other people on their journey with God.

What should I expect?
The goal of joining a group is to grow in your faith around people that can support you in taking your next steps. We believe life is better when you’re together with those that can relate with you in your walk with Christ. Some of our Life Group options include: married, co-ed, men’s, women’s and students. We want to help you find the best fit.

Is childcare provided?
Many of our groups offer childcare including all of our groups that meet on our campus. Some groups will have participants share responsibility in watching the children, split the cost for a sitter, or make other arrangements. Make sure to let us know if you would like to join a group with childcare.

How often do Life Groups meet?
Groups meet on different days and times throughout the week. Some choose to meet every week, while others meet bi-weekly, or monthly.

Where do Life Groups meet?
Groups meet at Life Point, homes, restaurants and coffee shops all across the Northwest side of San Antonio. We will help you find a group that best suits your location.

What will my Group do?
Each group leader decides what their group will focus on. Some groups are interest based, meaning they do something they enjoy and pray together for a few minutes before they do their thing. Other groups do Bible studies and follow video curriculum from RightNow Media, while others choose Bible studies from noted Bible teachers. Some of our groups are recovery focused and help deal with the hurts, habits and hangups of life.

Life Groups are about people taking their next steps with each other. Join a Life Group and you’ll see why we think doing life with other people is the best way forward.

If you have any question about our Life Groups or suggestions for a new group, email one of our Life Groups leaders, Susan Howell.
