Baptism

Baptism is a meaningful step of obedience, rooted in Jesus’ command and our desire to follow Him wholeheartedly. Jesus set the example by being baptized Himself, showing His willingness to identify with us and inviting us to do the same (Matthew 28:19–20; Mark 1:9). Because of this, baptism is an important step for every believer who has placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior (Acts 2:36–41).

After signing up online or in person, you will receive additional details and next steps. On your selected Sunday, you’ll meet with our Baptism Dream Team leaders before the service. You will then be baptized during our worship experience, allowing the entire congregation to celebrate this meaningful moment with you.

"Those who believe and accepted His message were baptized..." — Acts 2:41 "Simon himself believed and was baptized..." — Acts 8:13 "But when they believed Philip as he preached the Good News... and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women." — Acts 8:12 At Life Point, we wait until children are old enough to believe and understand the true meaning of baptism before we baptize them (typically ages ten and up). For more info on the ways we celebrate the faith of children, contact your child's youth pastor/leader.
